Cost Estimate  Using the information you provide, I'll estimate the cost of completing your project.  I can work by the project or by the hour.  Contact me to discuss hourly rates.

Bid Letter  I'll send you a Bid Letter, which is a simple price proposal/agreement outlining the service to be provided, terms, and the estimated cost.  Once I receive the signed bid letter back from you with the initial payment, I'll start work on the project.

Terms  Terms may be negotiated prior to starting the project.  Most projects over $2000 are paid half up front, with the final payment after project completion.  All projects include a maximum of two revisions.  Kill fees required if project is killed after writing is completed or partially completed.

Conceptual Phase  This phase may include a teleconference, meeting, interviews or questionnaire about the project.  I will likely ask to see any documents pertaining to the project also.  Using this information, I will prepare an outline or conceptual draft for the project for your review and approval.

Drafts  I'll provide a first draft for you to review, and I'll incorporate any ideas or comments you may have.  Many projects will only require one draft, but more complex projects might require a second draft as well.

Final Copy  This will be the final written product, ready for layout with your graphic designer.
